Beacons in Ireland

We now have several beacons operating in the Island of Ireland, operating on well known bands and some others on new experimental frequencies. Most beacons transmit CW idents on every even or odd minute. Many now also use a mode known as PI4 which can be decoded using dedicated software.. see PI4. There are also beacons using data modes from WSJTx such as FT8 and Q65 which are especially useful for weak signal reception.. see WSJTx. These beacons are listed on this page.
