Publications Library

A few weeks ago we announced the launch of the IRTS Publications Library at www.irts.ie/library which includes scanned copies of IRTS publications up to the year 2000. Bill EI9FK has supplied a batch of newsletters from the 1980s, providing lots of additional historical material for the library. We have also included the "IRTS Amateur Radio Yearbook 1986-87": in the pre-web site era, this Yearbook was a key source of information about the society, its activities and affiliated clubs. The big gap in the library is now the 1970s; Séamus EI8BP or Joe EI7GY would like to hear from anyone with newsletters or other IRTS publications from the missing years.

Limerick Radio Club

Limerick Radio Club held it's annual Rally on Sunday 12th March. There was a steady stream of visitors through the door from 11am onwards. The club sincerely wishes to thank Raymond Long for his attendance. Over many years Long Communications has been a great supporter of the LRC annual Rally and for that we are very grateful.

LRC wishes to thank all the Bring & Buy people who had some great bargains on offer. In addition, the 2017 rally can justifiably boast of the biggest selection and quantity of test equipment on offer. Some unsold items, rigs and test equipment, are still listed on the LRC web site, see www.limerickradioclub.ie/

Last but not least the club wishes to acknowledge the great effort by many club members, on the day and in the lead up to the Rally, which helped to make the day a great success.
