IRTS Radio News Bulletin Sunday January 2nd 2000

Call Sign Listings

The society's call sign listings are currently being updated, in preparation for the next Year Book, due to be published early in 2000. The call listings are based on the call sign data supplied by the Office of the Director of Telecommunications Regulation.

Where radio experimenters indicate to the ODTR that they do not wish their name and address details to be published in call books, the note "Details withheld at licensee's request" is shown in the Year Book in place of the name and address. If you have indicated to the ODTR that you do not want your name and address details to be published, but now want to amend that request, you should immediately contact Joe Ryan EI7GY, who looks after the society's membership records.

Members who have previously been in touch with Joe (or with Sean Donelan, the society's treasurer) on this point, need not do so again, as a record has been kept of all requests made to Joe and Sean.

Joe Ryan can be contacted by email at jryan at iol dot ie, or by writing to him at his home address, which is listed in the year book.
