Contesting on a Budget

EI8IC has created a number of forums on his website aimed at those without the big towers and the latest rigs, under the general title 'Homebrew Hams - Forums For Those Who Like To Do Things For Themselves'. There are sections for Contesting, Antennas, Towers, and other areas of discussion.

There are also specific areas for Irish Contesting, and AREN, the Amateur Radio Emergency Network in Ireland, moderated by John Ketch EI2GN.

The forums are not designed to act in competition to any of the more established ones, rather, to act as a place where you can ask questions and leave tips that others will browse through. Have you ever come up with a good idea that you want to share with other contesters? Then this is the place to do it. Ever wanted to ask a basic question but felt nervous when amongst the big guns? Visit www.qsl.net/ei8ic/forums On the site, there is no advertising, and no pop-ups!
